| 1976: |
NEWTEC established by Gunnar Petersen. The production of the first automated packing solution for local carrot producers began. The production grew rapidly as news of the new machinery quickly were spread. |
| 1978: | The first packing machines for potatoes are developed and produced. |
| 1979: | All machines fully automated. |
| 1982: | The development of the computerized multi-head weigher was the result of a technological breakthrough. This also resulted in a marketing breakthrough: In the UK potato weighers simply became known as “Newtec's”. |
| 1990: | Newtec entered the apple market with a new weigher called 2012A – made specially for handling of apples. |
| 1990: | BN1000 was the first punnet machine that was introduced. In the beginning it was made for carrots but later it was used for other products as well. |
| 1991: | The first machine for produced products, called 2009PC, was introduced. |
| 1995: |
The fully automated quality grading machine “ASTRO” was developed. Astro 126 and Astro 84 were finally launched into the market in 2000. |
| 2001: | The production were now growing to such an extent that NEWTEC needed more space to produce the machines. In 2001 NEWTEC buys a larger building at Stærmosegårdsvej 18, Odense - the current location of the company. |
| 2002: | Newtec 3013XL is launched – a machine weighing up to 75 x 2,5 kilo portions per minute. |
| 2004: | The opical grader, Celox, was launched including first generation of supercomputer. |
| 2005: | Newtec received the Business Award from The Council for Trade and Industry in Odense. |
| 2006: | 2. generation of supercomputer for CELOX. |
| 2006: | Newtec 3015 was introduced - a combination weigher which runs up to 100 portions a minute. Furthermore 3015 has fully removable weigh heads and collecting pans and a new user friendly touch screen. |
| 2008: | Newtec 3009 was introduced. This combination weigher also has fully removable weigh heads and collecting pans. In contrast to the 3015 it has a new generation of computer cards and a new purpose build display. |
| 2008: | Introduction of Web Services. Web Services is an information system accessible through the internet, enabling access to business information and productivity tools for Newtec Celox Optical Graders and Newtec Weighers. |
| 2009: | The 2004XXB weigher was introduced. This weigher was developed for packing big portions at lower costs. |
| 2009: | Introduction of 4009B2 weighing machine prepared for Web Services. |
| 2010: | Newtecs 4015B2 was introduced. This is a high performance combination weigher for solid fruit and vegetables. There has also been developed a 4015B2 Revolver. |
| 2011: | Introduction of the 4014XB1. This is a strong combination weigher developed to handle large products at high speed. |
| 2011: | The Celox XT is introduced. This new optical grader has higher precision due to a new camera section, which has improved product tracking. It also has up to 50% increased capacity. |
| 2012: | Introduction of the Continuous Cup Filling packaging machine. This packaging solution uses a continuous filling and closing process for packaging products into cups with lids. |
