If the operator has a question regarding a specific setting, Newtec's trained service staff will - with your permission - log in to your Celox optical sorting machine, view the machine's settings and offer advice. With your permission, we can even modify and optimise the configuration of your machine.

How does artificial intelligence (AI) enhance operations in Newtec's optical sorter?

Apples and pears are very fragile products, and therefore, must be handled with care through the use of special product handling technology and equipment. Apples and pears should gently float through the conveyor systems, while remaining as controlled as possible in order to eliminate the risk of bruising.

Equipped with our state-of-the-art vision systems, the included Check Point measures and evaluates a whole range of criteria in addition to weight, such as checking the packaging material and the product orientation on the belt. Newtec's Check Points are pre-set by the operator to identify and reject any packaging that does not meet the requirements, with regard to size, colour and shape.
